Why this site exists
A small note about making room for personal writing outside work and social media.
This site exists because not everything needs to become work, social media, a portfolio, a place to sell services, or a private note that vanishes forever in a chat thread with no grave marker.
I wanted a personal corner of the internet that does not have to behave like a CV. A well-designed private notebook for side quests, field notes, evidence from the chaos, travel scenes, games, food, self-care, learning, personal sites, static sites, little systems, and things that make the internet feel fun again.
The point is not to make a polished persona. It is to keep a place that can be a little serious, a little dry-funny, a little too curious for its own good, and still feel human later.
Sometimes that means a travel note. Sometimes it means a Final Fantasy XIV thought, a tiny system that made a week less chaotic, a coffee spot, food that saved me, a game that humbled me, an AI or web tool worth remembering, a practical recommendation, or a site detail I liked because nobody turned it into a slide deck.
It is also a place for things I am trying not to overthink: sleep, food, training, future trips, games, and this website, ironically.
It is not trying to be important. It is trying to be mine.
